Provide sites with stronger Process Engineering capability to solve advanced technical problems. Train Process Engineers toward stronger technical expertise and greater autonomy. Drive robust, stable, and repeatable manufacturing processes that improve yield, quality, productivity, cost performance, and margin through stronger Process Engineering. Ensure products and processes are ready for industrialization, ramp-up, and stable production. Improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs through stronger process performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- Minimum seven years of engineering experience in electronics manufacturing.
- Significant hands-on experience in Manufacturing Process Engineering.
- At least two years of experience as a Lead Engineer or in an equivalent technical leadership role.
- Successful applicants will have to fulfill all prerequisites for contracts.
- Certain position may require US Citizenship
- Ability to effectively apply advanced technical expertise to resolve complex manufacturing process challenges.
- Ability to use data and engineering analysis to identify root causes and drive solutions through implementation, validation, and measurable results.
- Ability to continuously monitor and track process performance to detect issues early.
- Ability to take ownership of commitments and proactively engage resources needed to deliver results.
- Manufacturing Excellence mindset with a focus on continuous improvement opportunities.
- Ability to train, coach, and develop site engineers to strengthen process engineering capability.
- Ability to influence multiple sites to adopt scalable, standardized, and sustainable process solutions.
- Self-directed, hands-on, and results-driven with limited supervision.
- Strong expertise in SMT Manufacturing Process Engineering.
- Strong expertise in Screen Printing and Solder Paste Inspection (SPI) processes.
- Strong expertise in Reflow Process development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Strong expertise in Wave and Selective Soldering processes.
- Strong knowledge of Dispensing, Conformal Coating, and Electronics Repair processes.
- Ability to define process parameters, process windows, process capability, control limits, and process control strategies using statistical engineering methods.
- Ability to provide advanced technical support and direction to resolve complex process issues across multiple sites.

- Experience improving flow, cycle time, WIP, changeover, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Experience developing and improving low-volume, high-mix, and electronics repair processes.

- Experience developing, standardizing, and replicating process solutions across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Proven experience delivering measurable productivity, cost reduction, capacity, yield, and margin improvements.
- Experience working with material suppliers, equipment suppliers, customers, and technology partners.
- Experience developing, mentoring, and transferring knowledge to Process Engineers and technical experts.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional Process Engineering activities and solve complex manufacturing process challenges.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, optimize, implement, and validate manufacturing process solutions.
- Develop and standardize SMT, soldering, dispensing/conformal coating, repair, and other critical processes.
- Support NPI and product industrialization from process readiness through ramp-up and stable production.
- Create and deploy process standards, automation, Digital Factory, and advanced process solutions across sites.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
