About The Position

The Principal, Solutions Consulting is part of a team that supports the creation of new revenue opportunities and ongoing success of existing client accounts by applying deep technical expertise of Cotality products and data to solve business problems for our clients. Solutions Advisors are responsible for the process of "solutioning" which means fully understanding problems and working across organizational teams to identify the best solution for the client. The successful Solutions Advisor leverages both product and real estate business acumen to define and align customer requirements to existing Cotality products and solutions. The role includes developing a deep understanding of unique client needs and socializing common themes and client needs internally as an input for future product development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or relevant discipline and/or relevant experience
  • 10+ years of Consultant/Business Process Analyst/Product Management in the real estate segment
  • Previous experience in a leadership and/or management role
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and collaborating effectively with Product, Marketing, Support, Client Success, Sales, and other business groups
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, proven ability to design clear processes and a very detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into complete and deliverable specifications
  • Excellent organizational and project management and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple concurrent projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with/influencing cross-functional teams and gaining consensus.
  • Strong listening and question-based knowledge gathering skills
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze data from a variety of sources, identify issues, draw conclusions, and craft solutions
  • Domain knowledge covering of the real estate economy
  • Extensive knowledge of real estate/MLS client base and product and data offerings

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the implementation, product, client success and sales teams on creating client solutions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Cotality (real estate) products and how they are used by the customer.
  • Keep an ongoing pulse on the sales pipeline and provide updates to leadership.
  • Partner with sales for revenue opportunities and drive prospects through the pipeline.
  • Partner with existing clients and prospects to solve complex needs utilizing existing solutions.
  • Ensure internal stakeholders understand the clients’ needs.
  • Manage/document client engagements to document scope and detailed requirements of services to be implemented for clients within contracts.
  • Validate specifications with internal and external stakeholders to ensure they are consistent with articulated business requirements and deliver the expected results.
  • Present clients’ complex issues and socialize potential solutions to senior and executive leadership.
  • Create and empower data driven and continual improvement culture.
