About The Position

The Principal Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering scalable, modern IT solutions by translating business and technical requirements into actionable architecture designs. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to guide solution delivery and ensure alignment with enterprise standards. The Principal Solution Architect also contributes to architecture standards, patterns, and technology roadmaps. This role influences solution direction through leadership in design reviews and cross-functional collaboration. The position supports enterprise initiatives, including AI-enabled solutions, by establishing standards and governance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT experience with 3+ years of experience specifically in solution architecture or IT architecture
  • Experience designing and documenting end-to-end architecture solutions
  • Experience with ERP and CRM platforms such as JD Edwards and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience with integrations, APIs, and data architecture
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Design and document high-level and detailed solution architectures including applications, integrations, APIs, and data flows.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and product teams to translate requirements into actionable technical designs.
  • Lead architecture walkthroughs and design reviews with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Guide development teams to ensure solutions meet standards for scalability, security, and integration.
  • Support Agile delivery by collaborating on features and stories in Azure DevOps and JIRA.
  • Contribute to enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and reference architecture.
  • Assist in developing technology roadmaps and future-state architecture direction.
  • Participate in AI Center of Excellence efforts to define standards and governance for AI-enabled solutions.
