About The Position

Bentley Systems, Incorporated, Exton, PA is opening for a Principal Software Quality Analyst, Civil Engineering. This position is responsible for certifying Bentley's civil engineering software products including OpenRoads Designer, OpenRail Designer and OpenRail Overhead Line Designer. The role involves performing functional, integration, upgrade, and performance testing, as well as certification of Digital iTwin workflows using Civil Connector. The analyst will collaborate with product management and development teams to define testing scope and understand user workflows and product implementations. Responsibilities include creating civil datasets for the automation team, developing test plans and test cases, configuring ProjectWise servers and Managed WorkSpaces with SQL Server databases for civil products, managing Azure DevOps activities (bugs, PBIs, tasks, test plans/cases), handling user issues, service cases, and escalations, and monitoring Azure release/build pipelines for successful completion before providing QA signoff.

Requirements

  • U.S. Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering
  • 5 years of experience

  • Understanding of testing workflows and processes in Bentley.
  • Certifying Digital iTwin with respect to Bentley products using Connectors.
  • Working with ProjectWise and Managed Workspaces.
  • Working on Civil products especially OpenRoads Designer, OpenRail Designer and OpenRail Overhead Line Designer, OpenBridge Modeler, OpenGround and OpenTunnel.
  • Managing work on Azure DevOps from documenting and maintaining Bugs, PBIs, Test Plans and Test Cases, to creating and maintaining Virtual Machines on DevTest Labs.
  • Monitoring Azure Release / Build Pipelines.
