About The Position
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Transformation & Delivery is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our high-impact team supporting the Zero Process Oracle (ZPO) initiative. This program is focused on streamlining critical business processes across Oracle, and you will build the platforms and tools that make it possible. We need an engineer who can work across the stack—from database to UI—and who brings strong PostgreSQL/SQL experience alongside modern web development skills. You'll support a variety of disciplines as needs evolve, shipping iteratively and adapting quickly. This is a greenfield opportunity to build enterprise-grade applications that will transform how Oracle manages and improves its processes. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain applications supporting the ZPO Process Registry and related tooling
- Design and implement workflow systems with dynamic scoring, validation, and real-time updates
- Develop responsive dashboards and reporting capabilities for multiple user personas (Process Owners, ZPO Team, Leadership)
- Write and optimize SQL/PL/SQL including stored procedures, complex queries, and data model design
- Implement role-based access control and integrate with enterprise identity systems (SSO/MFA)
- Build automated report generation with export capabilities (PDF, PowerPoint, text)
- Integrate AI/ML model outputs into dashboards and interfaces (predictions, recommendations, automated insights)
- Own operational health: monitoring, debugging, and continuous improvement
- Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices
