About The Position

The Principal Software Engineer builds a repeatable Kubernetes platform for relocating and modernizing containerized applications across Azure regions. The role focuses on multi-cluster AKS design, regional cluster stamps, GitOps, workload identity, ingress, container registry, policy, observability, resilience, and operational readiness. The engineer designs and implements production AKS clusters across Azure regions and availability zones, creates standardized regional cluster stamps using infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment pipelines, and establishes GitOps-based workload deployment. The position also covers cluster resilience and lifecycle management, identity and secret-management patterns, network ingress and egress, container image governance, observability, workload migration, and production troubleshooting. The Principal Software Engineer leads technical architecture decisions, establishes engineering standards, mentors senior engineers, and drives scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native solutions. The position is fully remote in Chandler, Arizona.
