About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Software Developer, Principal to join our team! In this role you will get to demonstrate a deep and broad expertise in software development and modern security capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience
  • Leadership in Agile software development environments
  • Experience in designing and implementing security architectures that support the concurrent processing of classified data at multiple levels
  • Knowledge of HPC technologies including: Cluster managers, resource managers or schedulers
  • Containers and namespace technology
  • High performance storage including Lustre, WekaFS, and accelerated NFS implementations
  • Tiered storage including object storage such as Ceph and the S3 protocol
  • High performance network fabrics including InfiniBand and Slingshot, and a working Experience developing web services in Python
  • Experience developing Security Enhanced Linux policies enforcing information flow security architectures
  • Develop solutions addressing the 800-53 Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Active Top Secret or higher clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of cloud native and hybrid cloud architecture and tools
  • Familiarity with Key Management Interoperability Protocol and at least one enterprise-class key management product
  • Experience supporting ATO efforts of systems using the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) or similar guidance and overlays

Responsibilities

  • Interacting with customers to discuss their requirements and providing insights into the Art of the Possible in the HPC space using modern security capabilities
  • Deriving requirements and developing designs that enable customers to increase utilization of HPC resources while balancing user experience with the complex and evolving nature of modern threats and mitigation techniques
  • Leading an Agile team in the development of the capabilities and being an active contributor to the code
  • Continually engage the stakeholders to share status and collect input and using that input to help drive the development towards a solution that meets the needs of the stakeholders
  • Work with testing and security assessment teams to validate the implementation and support Authority to Operate efforts enabling connection and processing of data on DoW networks
