About The Position

ProSidian is seeking a Principal Risk Management Specialist for Program Support on an Exempt Basis for On-Site work in The Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Area (Aiken, South Carolina). This role supports a high-hazard nuclear cleanup environment requiring disciplined staffing, safety, quality, security, and regulatory compliance. The position is aligned with GSA Labor Category: Executive Consultant/SME II and focuses on ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Risk Management Solutions and Services. Candidates with relevant Nuclear and Environmental Management Sector Experience are sought to support professional services engagements for clients such as SRMC. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) position, though ProSidian reserves the right to convert it to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position. The role involves providing services and support aligned with the Risk Management Functional Area within the Nuclear and Environmental Management Industry Sector. It focuses on Human Capital, Project Management, Engineering, Environmental, Compliance, Risk Management, IT Effectiveness, Business Process, and Training Knowledge Management Solutions for clients like Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC), supporting the Liquid Waste Program. The Specialist will provide Risk Management Services and Solutions as a ProSidian Engagement Team Member, supporting risk management activities through planning, analysis, coordination, documentation, compliance, quality assurance, and stakeholder support. The goal is to give leaders decision-ready insight by integrating complex risks, consequences, mitigations, and uncertainty across liquid-waste projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in related field
Strong computer skills
Fundamental verbal and written communication skills
US citizen
Primarily focused on Management and Financial Consulting, Acquisition and Grants Management Support, and Business Program and Project Management Services initiatives and aligned with Program Support activities Risk Management (Risk) Functional Area Activities.
Advanced risk modeling; integrated risk registers; probability and consequence analysis; mitigation strategy; executive reporting; vulnerability assessment

Nice To Haves

Degree in Risk Management, Mathematics or Statistics
Previous experience with Oracle Crystal Ball, Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran Risk Analysis and/or P6 scheduling

Responsibilities

Safety is a primary responsibility in each job performed. Obtain safety training, obey safety rules, and make safety an integral part of each task. Take necessary steps to stop work if continuing the activity is unsafe or will create and unsafe condition.
Completes complex Risk Assessment Process using appropriate risk elicitation techniques and procedures.
Performs assessable element reviews by gathering likelihood and impact data for the most complex or largest Projects.
Performs Monte Carlo Analysis using appropriate software tools (e.g., Oracle Crystal Ball, Safran Risk Analysis) and assembles data and analysis results into standard Risk Management reports.
Acts as subject matter expert on assigned Projects for all risk related impacts.
Leads Project team on risk update status meetings and provides monthly risk reports.
May act as mentor to lower level Risk Management specialists.
Other duties as assigned.
Identifies, assesses and reduces or mitigates risks to the liquid waste Projects as part of the organization’s Project integration group.
Activities include: Characterizing potential risks and assessing vulnerability of critical assets to specific risks.
Risk analysis and modelling to assess probability of specific risks occurring and evaluate/value the impact/consequences of occurrence.
