About The Position

Nightwing’s CODEX (Cyber Offense and Defense Experts) division is an elite team of mission-focused experts working across vulnerability research, reverse engineering, CNO/CNE development, hardware emulation, systems engineering, and data analytics. The team supports challenging national security missions and offers opportunities for mentorship, training, and work across a broad technical portfolio. The Principal Reverse Engineer performs vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and tool development for complex systems. This position is onsite and requires an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance.
Industry-leading, expert-level knowledge of vulnerability research and/or reverse engineering.
Experience with IDA, Ghidra, or Binary Ninja.
Experience with source management tools.
Experience with assembly language, such as x86/64, ARM, PPC, or MIPS.
Advanced knowledge of the work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
U.S. citizenship.
Typically, a bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8 years of prior related experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

8 or more years of reverse engineering or vulnerability research experience.
Experience with C, C++, or Python.
Experience utilizing full-system emulation for research and analysis.
Embedded systems analysis experience, including DSP and/or FPGA reverse engineering.
Working knowledge of cyberspace operations.
Experience with commercial and open-source forensic analysis tools.
