The Principal Research Scientist serves as the in vivo cardiovascular safety pharmacology subject-matter leader, providing scientific and strategic leadership across rodent, canine, and nonhuman-primate models. The role leads the design, execution, interpretation, and reporting of cardiovascular safety studies; advances GLP and regulatory readiness; and collaborates across a matrixed organization to deliver reproducible, decision-ready data. The position also develops and implements fit-for-purpose cardiovascular assays, models, and SOPs; champions data quality and reproducibility; mentors scientists; communicates study strategy, results, and risk assessments to senior leadership and cross-functional and regulatory-facing teams; and helps advance cardiovascular safety pharmacology capabilities, workflows, and technologies. It manages team members directly and indirectly in a matrixed environment to plan, coordinate, and prioritize studies.
