About The Position

Coinbase is hiring a Principal Recruiter for its Core Recruiting team within People Success. The team owns hiring across Coinbase's G&A functions. The recruiter will own full-lifecycle recruiting for some of the company's hardest-to-fill roles, partner directly with senior leaders to understand their talent needs, build strong candidate pipelines, and improve processes to help the recruiting team scale. Coinbase is remote-first, but not remote-only, and employees are expected to gather quarterly for in-person working sessions called “surges.”

Requirements

At least 8 years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience in a technology company or similarly fast-paced, high-growth environment, with demonstrated success closing senior and hard-to-attract candidates.
Experience building and scaling recruiting processes across global markets.
Deep knowledge of the entire candidate lifecycle, from talent mapping and sourcing through interviewing and closing.
A data-driven approach to pipeline management and the ability to translate recruiting metrics into strategic recommendations for stakeholders.
Ability to use generative AI responsibly, maintain human oversight, and deliver business-ready outputs that improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality measurably.

Responsibilities

Own the full recruitment lifecycle, from role intake through close, for complex, senior-level searches across the Core portfolio.
Build candidate pipelines through self-sourcing and competitive research, maintaining sufficient depth and quality at each stage to support hiring velocity.
Partner with senior leaders to translate hiring needs into effective search strategies and create a strong candidate and interviewer experience.
Maintain data integrity and use pipeline analytics to inform hiring efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and improve outcomes for hiring teams.
Design and implement recruiting processes and pilot programs that help the team scale its impact across global markets.
