About The Position

This role is for a Principal Supply Chain Project Manager who will lead strategic initiatives to strengthen supplier readiness, reduce supply chain risk, and support the delivery of critical nuclear products and services. The individual will lead complex projects, translating supply chain risks into applicable plans, working with global teams, and communicating with technical experts and senior leadership. This role reports to the Program Manager APM - Fuels and is fully remote within approved Westinghouse hiring locations, with occasional travel for supplier, project, and business review meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related technical discipline required.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as project manager leading and directing low to moderate complexity projects to successful completion (3 years of project management and 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role may be considered)
  • Proven experience leading complex supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, engineering, or operations projects, including business case development, financial management, and benefit realization.
  • Experience improving supplier performance, capacity, quality, operational efficiency, supply continuity, and risk mitigation through strategic and data-driven initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within highly regulated industries such as nuclear, energy, aerospace, defense, pharmaceutical, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with SAP, ENOVIA, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, APICS/ASCM (CPIM, CSCP), Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Supply Chain Initiatives: Lead projects focused on supply chain resilience, supplier development, capacity growth, and risk reduction. Manage project plans, budgets, governance, and stakeholder alignment to deliver business results.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner across Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Commercial teams to achieve project goals. Build stakeholder alignment and drive decision-making in complex, global environments.
  • Strengthen Supply Chain Performance: Analyze supplier and supply chain performance to improve delivery, quality, capacity, inventory, and cost. Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply continuity and operational resilience.
  • Manage Risks and Business Continuity: Identify and mitigate supplier, quality, capacity, logistics, and operational risks. Develop and track risk reduction plans while escalating critical issues as needed.
  • Communicate with Leadership: Prepare executive updates, dashboards, and governance reviews on project status and performance. Present risks, financial impacts, recommendations, and key decisions to support leadership action.
