The Program Manager, Principal (GIS Strategy and Execution) is a senior individual contributor responsible for owning, representing, and advancing the mission of the Solution Tower for Elevate across PG&E’s enterprise modernization portfolio. This role is aligned to all Functional Areas at PG&E and ensures consistency, clarity, and value realization across Functional Areas. The Program Manager, Principal operates in a badge‑less environment and collaborates closely with Product Managers to ensure that business intent, technical design, and delivery execution remain tightly aligned. Together, these roles ensure our solutions are feasible, scalable, secure, and ready for enterprise adoption. This role communicates to and influences senior leaders without formal authority, and is expected to resolve ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and make informed trade‑offs to balance value, risk, complexity, and speed. The position reports to the Director of GIS Strategy and Execution and serves as the accountable person for cross-functional issues that span organizational, functional, and technology boundaries. The role represents enterprise priorities and outcomes, not a single functional areas agenda. T his position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland office approximately 2 - 3 days per week, or more, based on business needs.
