The Enterprise Governance and Shared Compliance (EG&SC) group within General Counsel, Ethics, Risk and Compliance (GC ERC) provides leadership, strategic direction, and critical oversight of cross‑cutting governance and compliance matters across the enterprise. EG&SC oversees and expands enterprise programs supporting compliance with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC), and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) cybersecurity and privacy requirements. A core aspect of this function is leading and supporting coordination, governance, and implementation of critical cross‑functional compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to standardized enterprise and operational compliance risk mitigations. The group also provides enterprise‑wide governance over Information and Records Governance (IRG) requirements. The Program Manager, Principal is a cross‑functional leader responsible for driving Enterprise NERC Compliance program maturity. This role partners closely with intradepartmental personnel as well as functional area stakeholders to establish clear program goals and targets, develop performance metrics and dashboards, and strengthen governance and coordination mechanisms across the enterprise. The role serves as a recognized subject‑matter expert in NERC Compliance and program management, playing a critical role in ensuring consistency, rigor, and alignment in future WECC engagements, audits, and post‑audit activities. The Program Manager, Principal operates with a high degree of autonomy, influences leaders across organizational boundaries, and provides strategic structure to enterprise‑level governance forums. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business needs or company requirements. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory and will be agreed upon by the successful candidate and hiring leader. PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
