The Principal Program Controls Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Business Manager with business and financial responsibilities for a new contract expected to be awarded in May 2026. This position is Award Dependent. The Principal Program Controls Specialist will support and generate work products for various weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual routines including the following: Earned Value reporting, Baseline Planning and Development, Estimates at Completion (EACs), risk and opportunity development, financial forecasting, Short Range Outlook (SRO), Annual Operation Plan (AOP) and 5-year strategic planning. This position will not have any employee management responsibilities and will be an individual contributor role on the program.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience
  • Experience consolidating and analyzing financial data sets
  • Existing TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Ability to partner with functional leads and program managers offering solutions and making quick informed business decisions
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative and use critical and strategic thinking
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools
  • Independently create and accurately analyze financial data
  • Financial experience in the aerospace/defense industry
  • Prior program experience in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS); Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification or equivalent Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
  • Prior program experience in Estimates at Completion (EAC) including cost, variance, risk and opportunity analysis
  • Proficiency using SAP/APEX/PRISM/MRP/RPLAN/BW
  • Self-starter highly motivated with a positive "can do" attitude
