About The Position

BlackCloak's mission is to protect corporate executives and high-profile individuals in their personal lives, mitigating risks to their families, companies, reputation, and finances. We defend our clients’ digital lives from hackers, privacy leaks, and identity theft. This role is for a Principal Product Manager - AI & Innovation who will rapidly design, build, and prototype new product capabilities from the ground up. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our product offerings. You will be a hands-on builder and a strategic leader, taking concepts from the idea stage to functional prototypes. You will work closely with leadership and product management to transform our roadmap into tangible, high-impact features that protect our members. This role reports directly to the VP of Product Management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical product management experience with a proven track record of shipping complex products across mobile, desktop, and cloud environments.
  • A background in software engineering is a significant advantage.
  • A strong product sense and the ability to act as a strategic partner to both leadership and engineering.
  • Driven by solving member problems and can effectively translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Deep technical literacy and architectural understanding across our technology stack, including cloud services (GCP preferred), mobile & desktop development, and networking principles.
  • Must be able to engage in deep technical discussions with engineers and architects.
  • Proven ability to lead technical validation and prototyping processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to translate concepts into clear requirements and manage projects from brief to functional prototype.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders, and define clear success criteria and milestones for prototype-to-production pathways.
  • A self-starter mentality with the ability to manage complex projects end-to-end with minimal oversight in a high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in productizing AI technologies.
  • Can identify high-impact use cases for Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI, define clear product requirements, and navigate the technical and ethical trade-offs required to ship intelligent features that solve real-world member problems.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new opportunities to deliver value to BlackCloak members, with a focus on emerging technologies and competitive differentiators.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to automate workflows on behalf of BlackCloak customer operations teams.
  • Lead the end-to-end rapid prototyping process, from initial concept to functional prototype, ensuring initiatives meet defined success criteria.
  • Translate ambiguous business concepts into clear, concise, and actionable requirements for prototype development.
  • Identify, procure, and manage a dedicated toolset to enable the efficient creation and testing of functional prototypes.
  • Partner with CSOC leadership, Engineering and the Director of Product Innovation to vet new ideas, assess technical feasibility, and define architectural approaches that align with our long-term product vision.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, third-party services, and frameworks based on their potential to solve member problems and create strategic advantages for BlackCloak.
  • Take full ownership of new product concepts, from initial research and hypothesis testing to building the business case and gathering feedback from internal stakeholders before committing to full-scale development.
  • Work closely with our platform, mobile, and security engineering teams to ensure the seamless integration of successful prototypes into our existing ecosystem.
