About The Position

Clearwater Analytics is seeking a Principal Product Manager to guide its Private Funds System (LPx). The role calls for insurance accounting expertise, team leadership, and responsibility for the successful implementation and operation of the private funds data system. The Product Manager will define system functionality, work with clients and internal teams, and deliver a product that meets client needs in insurance accounting. The role includes developing and maintaining private funds-focused products that provide clients with meaningful insights and data transparency. It also involves advising on investment performance against indices, allocations, and values at risk, while applying structured project management to drive operational excellence.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in the insurance accounting industry, as a practitioner or technologist.
Strong understanding of private markets, particularly as they relate to insurance accounting.
Background in accounting and clear understanding of industry needs and challenges.
Exceptional leadership skills and ability to manage and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and internal stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to project management.

Responsibilities
