About The Position

Operations Infrastructure Services (OIS) is part of Amazon’s Worldwide Operations & Robotics team, responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting IT and Network infrastructure, devices, and services across Amazon’s Global Fulfillment Centers, Transportation, and Specialty Customer Solutions. The Continuous Infrastructure Automation team within OIS focuses on Network Automation systems. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager - Technical to lead the product development of network onboarding products and services. This role involves partnering with technical leaders to define long-term vision, business requirements, and launch strategies, as well as collaborating with partner teams to implement scalable solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent.
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience in technical product management.

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements.
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product development of network onboarding products and services.
  • Partner with strong technical stewards to drive the long-term vision through development of vision documents.
  • Define business requirements for network onboarding products and services.
  • Manage launch and post-launch measurement of network onboarding products and services.
  • Serve as a key player with partner teams across the company, working to align interests and implement scalable solutions.
  • Spearhead high-impact projects.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks.
  • Provide escalation management.
  • Make trade-offs.
  • Balance business needs versus technical constraints.
  • Break down large, complex projects into manageable pieces and deliver them successfully and in a timely manner.
