We’re looking for a confident leader who can guide cross-functional teams in establishing a new range of capabilities and market facing products that meet customer needs and grow market share for ICEYE US. This role involves significant collaboration with ICEYE US product management, engineering, sales and customer delivery teams through all aspects of the product development and delivery lifecycle. Through that collaboration, this role is responsible for establishing and delivering a world class payload products capable of integration with a variety of platforms. This role is highly focused on providing value to both domestic and international government agencies. Active customer interaction and advocacy, including significant interactions with partners, will be needed to understand and codify requirements, help to manage relationships with representatives within the customer’s organization, drive product improvements and competitive advantage for ICEYE US. The Product Manager will play the lead role in quantifying customer value to the product development organization, informing our overall strategy and product roadmap. This person should be a highly technical leader with a proven ability to establish product strategy for the full product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen with an active U.S. Government security clearance TS/SCI
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience, preferably in the development of space based capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience in project or program management including the release or delivery of complex or highly technical capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience with space payloads, bus integration, or space industry hardware partnerships.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience defining the Vision and Strategy for commercial or government focused product offerings
  • Demonstrated experience with RF collection capabilities and customers or the market for space based remote sensing technologies.
  • Product Management experience including roadmap development, prioritization across multiple internal and external stakeholders, release planning, and execution
  • Experience with product launches including GTM strategy

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the Vision and Strategy for our commercial payloads.
  • Leads the full product lifecycle for our commercial payloads line of business which includes refining and potentially diversifying the product offering, guiding development prioritization, go-to-market strategy, and product release.
  • Fully understands customer use cases and creates product strategy that describes technical requirements, operational impacts and ROI
  • Develops/maintains the ICEYE US commercial payloads product roadmap, in collaboration with the payload engineering teams and others within product management and sales
  • Deeply understands the product and capability shortfalls; recommends and prioritizes solutions to leadership to inform future roadmap decisions
  • Leads product launch checklist(s) and coordinates with the respective teams on OKR execution to ensure go-live readiness and high product reliability
  • Generates and maintains product information and documentation for internal ICEYE US stakeholders, partners, and customers
  • Evaluates non-standard product offering/services and supports proposal development based on current and future capabilities.
  • Coordinates with the US regulatory teams as needed
