This role will be based in New York, San Francisco, Mountain View, or Bellevue. At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. Our mission. Gen Z is entering the workforce at scale and bringing new expectations for how professional relationships begin and grow. They are gravitating toward spaces where people with shared interests can exchange ideas, learn from one another, and build identity and trust over time. Unlike one-way content experiences, communities create an ongoing loop of participation and belonging: every conversation adds context, strengthens relationships, and gives people a reason to return. By bringing together trusted identity, the professional graph, messaging, and global reach, we can create spaces where people return, contribute, and build relationships that move their careers and lives forward. What this role is: We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to build a new member product at the intersection of messaging and communities. Think of the best parts of modern messaging and community products, rebuilt for the professional world and powered by what makes LinkedIn unique. This is a true zero-to-one role. You will define the vision, find the wedge, validate the core use cases, launch an MVP, and build toward product-market fit. There is no established playbook. We need someone who is excited to write it.
