About The Position

Silvus Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Principal Product Line Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of capabilities supporting Electronic Warfare (EW) and RF (Radio Frequency) sensing applications. This role is based in Irvine, CA, with a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 4 days onsite per week. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial technologist who enjoys customer interaction, has a sense of adventure, and is willing to travel. This position will define the evolution of Silvus’ product portfolio to include Electronic Support (ES), Electronic Attack (EA), Electronic Protection (EP), distributed sensing modalities, GPS-denied positioning, Counter UAS effects, and sensor-enabled radios. The role serves as the capability owner for EW and Sensing, translating mission needs into scalable product capabilities and guiding investment decisions. It sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Business Development, ensuring Silvus delivers differentiated, productized capabilities into rapidly evolving EW and sensing ecosystems. The Principal Product Line Manager owns the success of the tactical EW sensor product line, driving it from prototype to a scalable, sellable, operationally viable product. This involves market research, competitive analysis, direct customer engagement, translating user insights into requirements, evangelizing the product, owning the roadmap, and supporting pilot programs and field tests.

  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, uncertain, and agile environment.
  • Technical familiarity with RF systems, sensors, embedded systems, or tactical UAS.
  • Deep sense of ownership—you think in terms of outcomes, not just features, and hold yourself accountable for your product’s performance in the market.
  • Experience serving as a product evangelist or spokesperson, internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-informed approach to decision-making.
  • Technical fluency and an ability to collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional partners.
