About The Position

At Bloom Energy, we are seeking a highly skilled Principal Product Integration Engineer to drive DfX / DFM / NPI readiness for current and future products, ensuring smooth product to equipment integration and scalable manufacturing. This role requires a proven track record in equipment and process development, and integration within R&D and manufacturing environments. This role will report to the Director, Advanced Manufacturing and will be based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 10+ years of experience in equipment and process development, and integration for R&D and manufacturing.
• Ability to lead new process development, test, and launch of proprietary equipment.
• Knowledge of DfX, DfM and/or Product integration functions.
• Ability to collaborate with process, design and NPI teams to develop and integrate process specifications.
• Experience with equipment suppliers management and process stabilization.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with global teams and travel up to 10-20%.

Nice To Haves

• MS or PhD in engineering field or applied science preferred.
• Experience in high-volume large format manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the new process development, test, and launch of proprietary equipment.
• Lead the DfX / DfM and Product integration functions for the AME team in DE.
• Collaborate with process and design and NPI teams to develop and integrate process specifications.
• Oversee equipment build and test processes, including POC's and other experiments to ensure new equipment meets all targeted specifications.
• Ensure process capability throughout development and implementation.
• Collaborate with remote engineering teams and suppliers.
• Work with global teams and various time zones.
