D-Wave is seeking a self-motivated Principal Process Integration Engineer to support the development and production of superconducting IC fabrication processes at our partner foundries. Prior experience in superconductivity is a plus but not required. In this role, you will lead process development initiatives, maintain and improve the process of record (POR) for production, and collaborate closely with foundry partners. You will play a key role in advancing next-generation superconducting technologies in a highly innovative environment. Our proprietary fabrication platform features advanced capabilities, including multiple critical current density (Jc) targets, seven wiring layers, planarized dielectrics, 0.25 µm features, and submicron Josephson junctions. Our processors integrate over one million Josephson junctions, representing some of the most complex superconducting circuits ever built. This role offers the opportunity to develop processes at the forefront of semiconductor innovation.
