Principal Platform Software Engineer

Oracle•Nashville, TN
•$105,900 - $234,600

About The Position

Join a new engineering team building the platform for Agentic Service Engineering, a system that helps OCI teams understand their services, automate repeatable engineering work, and safely evolve and operate production software with AI. The platform brings together service context, code and operational knowledge, workflows, testing, and guardrails so engineers and AI agents can diagnose issues, make changes, validate outcomes, and continuously improve services. As a Principal Application Software Engineer, you will design and deliver core platform capabilities, spanning agent orchestration, service knowledge, developer workflows, evaluation, and production-grade safety controls. You will own substantial technical components end to end, make architecture decisions, and partner with service teams to turn manual, service-specific work into reusable platform capabilities.
