About The Position

Panacea Financial Holdings (“Panacea”) is a rapidly growing fintech and banking platform purpose-built to serve the unique financial needs of physicians, dentists, and veterinarians. Panacea is building the next-generation financial ecosystem for healthcare professionals—spanning practice finance, personal banking, patient finance, accounting / tax, advisory and payments. We’re looking for a Principal Platform Product Manager to own our banking core platform, the foundation that powers all deposit and lending products. This role will set the long-term product strategy for how we build, scale, and evolve our financial products, while also partnering closely on a critical migration from our legacy core to a modern, real-time platform. You’ll operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and the business, driving high-impact decisions in a regulated environment. This is a highly strategic, hands-on role suited for someone who thrives in complexity and brings strong product judgment to ambiguous problems.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex platforms or systems
  • Strong background in fintech, banking, or lending, with experience working on or alongside banking core systems
  • Experience with Fiserv Finxact strongly preferred (or similar modern banking cores)
  • Proven experience operating in regulated environments (KYC, AML, BSA, PCI, SOC, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives or system migrations
  • Experience working in high-growth or ambiguous environments
  • Ability to influence executive stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making
  • Strong product judgment with the ability to drive both discovery and execution
  • Systems thinker with experience navigating complex, interconnected platforms
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban); Agile or Scrum certification a plus
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-ambiguity environments
  • Proven cross-functional leadership and stakeholder alignment skills
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Technical fluency and ability to partner closely with engineering teams
  • Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations in financial products
  • High ownership mindset with a bias toward action and results
  • Adaptable, solutions-oriented, and comfortable with rapid iteration

Nice To Haves

  • Agile or Scrum certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the long-term product vision and strategy for our core platform evolution, including setting priorities and defining success criteria.
  • Partner closely on the migration to Finxact by making product recommendations and decisions to enable crisp execution.
  • Define how legacy system behaviors translate to a modern, real-time architecture, including key tradeoffs (functional parity vs. intentional improvements)
  • Act as the product owner of the banking core platform, driving decisions across accounts, transactions, balances, statements, and entitlements
  • Collaborate with another Product Manager who owns the customer experience
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Go-To-Market teams to ensure a seamless and compliant transition
  • Coordinate platform readiness across external vendors and integration partners, including payment rails, aggregators, and digital banking providers
  • Own and evolve the post-migration platform vision and roadmap, prioritizing capabilities that drive customer value, operational efficiency, and long-term scalability
  • Ensure the platform meets ongoing regulatory, compliance, and reliability standards, including uptime, auditability, and data integrity
  • Partner with internal teams to build and improve back-office tooling and workflows that support servicing, operations, and customer experience
  • Contribute to new product development and identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI across internal and customer-facing systems
  • Define the banking core strategy to enable seamless integration between the Panacea core and each new sponsor bank core as partnerships expand

  • unlimited PTO
  • medical/dental/vision insurance
  • a competitive 401(k) match
