About The Position

This remote role is open to candidates in multiple markets across the United States. The Principal Platform Product Engineer is a senior technical leader for Product & Experience, responsible for platform architecture, engineering standards, integration patterns, developer experience design, service catalog architecture, golden path engineering, platform extensibility, and enterprise IDP capabilities.

The ideal candidate is a deep platform architect experienced in designing scalable developer platforms, integration ecosystems, and reusable engineering experiences across large enterprises. The role’s focus is divided among platform architecture (30%), platform integrations (25%), developer experience engineering (25%), and technical leadership (20%).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience as a technical hands-on leader of cloud teams, or a high school diploma or GED and 14 years of experience as a technical hands-on leader of cloud teams.
• At least 8 years of systems engineering or platform engineering experience.
• Enterprise architecture leadership.
• Integration architecture experience.
• Experience mentoring senior engineers.
• Experience with IDP architecture, platform engineering, service catalog architecture, golden paths, platform APIs, GitOps, infrastructure as code (IaC), and platform automation.
• Experience designing integration patterns for source control management (SCM), CI/CD, cloud, automation, security, observability, identity, and ITSM integrations.
