About The Position

Myriad360 is seeking a Principal Network Architect – Cisco IPFM & Critical Infrastructure to lead the architecture, design, and lifecycle management of large-scale enterprise and mission-critical network environments. This role serves as the technical authority for Cisco Integrated Physical Facility Model (IPFM) architectures and provides strategic leadership across network design, implementation governance, operational readiness, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience designing complex Cisco enterprise networks, supporting critical infrastructure environments, and guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams through architecture, deployment, and operational transition. This role partners closely with customers, project leadership, engineering, and sales teams to deliver highly available, secure, and scalable networking solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 15+ years of enterprise networking experience.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing large-scale Cisco enterprise network infrastructures.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Cisco Integrated Physical Facility Model (IPFM) methodologies.
  • Deep knowledge of Cisco enterprise routing, switching, wireless, security, and data center technologies.
  • Strong experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability network environments.
  • Proven ability to develop enterprise architecture documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, implementation plans, and operational runbooks.
  • Strong understanding of network resiliency, redundancy, disaster recovery, and operational best practices.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Ability to lead complex technical initiatives while mentoring engineering teams.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as project requirements dictate.
  • Must be based in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Cisco CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent advanced networking certification.
  • Experience supporting large public venues, stadiums, entertainment facilities, airports, smart buildings, healthcare, or other critical infrastructure environments.
  • Experience with campus and data center networking architectures.
  • Experience with network automation and orchestration platforms.
  • Experience working alongside multidisciplinary construction, facilities, and technology teams.
  • Experience supporting international infrastructure deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and design of complex enterprise and critical infrastructure network environments.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Cisco Integrated Physical Facility Model (IPFM) architecture and deployment methodologies.
  • Develop scalable logical and physical network architectures supporting mission-critical facilities.
  • Define architecture standards, reference designs, and best practices across enterprise networking initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout planning, implementation, testing, migration, and operational transition activities.
  • Develop and maintain high-level and low-level design documentation, implementation plans, standards, and operational runbooks.
  • Perform architecture reviews, design validation, technical quality assurance, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure network designs align with resiliency, redundancy, security, and operational best practices.
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for critical infrastructure environments.
  • Contribute to reusable architecture frameworks and documentation standards.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, executive stakeholders, and internal engineering teams.
  • Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and design discussions throughout project lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with technology partners, project managers, construction teams, facilities personnel, and multidisciplinary engineering organizations.
  • Support pre-sales initiatives through solution architecture, technical strategy, customer presentations, and proposal development.
  • Provide technical leadership during complex implementation, migration, and production cutover activities.
  • Mentor and develop engineering staff through technical guidance and knowledge transfer.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues affecting production environments.
  • Promote technical excellence through documentation, architectural consistency, and operational readiness.
  • Foster collaboration across engineering disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies.
  • Identify and escalate security risks to appropriate leadership while supporting remediation efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
