Requirements

8 years of experience supporting large enterprise network operations
8 years of experience implementing, upgrading and maintaining products from the CISCO suite of tools
8 years of experience in planning, designing and implementing local and wide area networks
8 years of experience monitoring network infrastructure
8 years of experience performing ongoing maintenance and problem resolution
Use of SecureCRT, Cisco Command Line Interface, and OSI
Excellent communication skills
Ability to take on projects and work independently meeting all deadlines

CCNA, CCDA, CCNP

Responsibilities

Supporting the agency's network operation, security, maintenance and collaboration with other agency departments and external organizations to provide a secure and effective network solution.
Responding to remote site circuit outages, router/switch/firewall issues, configuring and monitoring core to remote network equipment and similar tasks.
Monitoring the circuits daily to check for anomalies that may cause outages.
Assisting in providing any network support for all programs used in all client.
