About The Position

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal Logistics Planner to join its team in Melbourne, Florida. The position is fully onsite, with no remote work available. The planner reviews, analyzes, prepares, and modifies provisioning data and provides guidance for preparing Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) and related data in accordance with company procedures. This data supports identifying, selecting, and cataloging material and determining support material requirements, as well as developing Provisioning Parts Lists and Design Change Notifications (DCNs). The planner also supports modifications, reviews, and updates to existing lists, and attends and supports provisioning meetings and conferences. The role calls for an organized, detail-oriented, self-starting person able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to follow strictly defined processes. Travel is 10% of the time. Relocation assistance is not available. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance and special program access; an active Top Secret clearance is preferred.

Requirements

• 5 years of logistics experience with a bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a master’s degree, or 1 year with a PhD.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance within a reasonable time, as determined by business needs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain special program access as a condition of continued employment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to follow strictly defined processes.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-starting, with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with military aircraft maintenance or logistics.
• Previous provisioning experience.
• Understanding of DoD provisioning systems and how they function, including EAGLE, SLIC, and MIL-STD-1388.
• Experience navigating Logiquest, FEDLOG, WEBFLIS, or similar government tools.
• Understanding of maintenance concepts related to provisioning documentation and experience developing provisioning reports for customer submission.
• Ability to read and analyze Design Change Notices (DCNs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
