About The Position

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal Logistics Planner to join their team in Melbourne, Florida. This position is fully onsite. The role involves reviewing, analyzing, preparing, and modifying provisioning data and providing guidance for the preparation of Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) and related data in accordance with Northrop Grumman procedures. This data is used to identify, select, catalog, and determine support material requirements, and in the development of Provisioning Parts List(s) and Design Change Notifications (DCN). The role also includes supporting modifications, reviews, and updates to existing lists, attending provisioning meetings and conferences, and performing other related duties. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, self-starting, and capable of working both independently and in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to follow strictly defined processes are required.

Requirements

  • 5 years of logistics experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 3 years with a Master’s Degree, or 1 year with a PhD.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance within a reasonable time as determined by business needs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain special program access as a condition of continued employment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to follow strictly defined processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience with military aircraft maintenance or logistics.
  • Previous Provisioning experience.
  • Understanding of the DoD Provisioning systems and how they function (EAGLE, SLIC, MIL-STD-1388).
  • Experience navigating Logiquest, FEDLOG, or WEBFLIS or similar government tools.
  • Understanding of maintenance concepts related to provisioning documentation.
  • Experience developing provisioning reports for submission to a customer.
  • Ability to read and analyze Design Change Notices (DCNs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
