About The Position

The Technical Business Analyst serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams by analyzing business processes, data, and system relationships across enterprise applications. This role requires strong analytical and technical skills to extract, analyze, and interpret data from multiple platforms, including Salesforce, SAP, CIS, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be capable of writing and executing SQL queries, creating reports and dashboards, performing data analysis, documenting requirements, and supporting enterprise data management initiatives. The Technical Business Analyst will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making by translating complex business needs into actionable insights and technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write, execute, and troubleshoot complex queries.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and database design concepts.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business and system requirements.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Ability to analyze and understand data relationships across multiple enterprise systems.
• Experience validating, reconciling, and troubleshooting data issues.
• Working experience with Agile Scrum methodology, including requirements gathering, user story creation, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, user acceptance testing (UAT), and collaboration with cross-functional teams using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience

• Experience working with Salesforce data models, reporting, and analytics.
• Experience with SAP business processes and data structures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business, functional, and data requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions through data analysis, process mapping, and detailed specifications.
• Write and execute SQL queries to extract, validate, reconcile, and analyze data from multiple enterprise systems.
• Develop reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data visualizations that provide actionable insights and support operational, financial, and strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with business users to identify trends, improve reporting capabilities, and drive data-driven decisions across the organization.
• Analyze and document complex data structures, including databases, schemas, tables, columns, and relationships across Salesforce, SAP, CIS, SQL Server, and related enterprise systems.
• Develop data mappings, perform data validation and reconciliation, and support data migration and ETL activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Partner with business and technical teams to troubleshoot data issues, identify process improvements, and ensure successful testing and implementation of new solutions.
• Maintain a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and how data flows across applications, enabling the organization to leverage enterprise data effectively for reporting, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrates a strong familiarity with business processes that are in their area of business focus
• Establishes and manages effective customer relationships with users of business, financial and operations systems, as well as technical team members
• Applies advanced analytical skills within functional area to decompose work into manageable value-based units
• Responds to requests, identifies conflicts, and makes recommendations where needed
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems
• Uses knowledge of business processes to identify interdependencies and functional gaps
• Builds strong working understanding of the technical solution being delivered and analyzes and determines failure points in the solution
• Contributes to the application testing process (directly or to support end users)
• Creates and updates documentation, as appropriate, for selected project framework
• Maintains a familiarity with market trends in technology
