About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Principal Integration Consultant to assess our clients' current integration landscapes, provide target-state architecture recommendations, establish governance frameworks, and define strategic roadmaps for integration modernization and platform consolidation. This is a senior-level consulting and advisory role focused heavily on architecture assessment, platform evaluation, Center of Excellence (CoE) establishment, cost optimization, and enterprise automation strategy rather than hands-on, daily development. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business objectives and complex, hybrid technology estates, laying the foundation for a scalable, connected enterprise.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Enterprise Integration, Integration Architecture, or Technology Consulting.
  • Proven experience establishing an Integration CoE and driving large-scale integration modernization, platform consolidation, or cloud-migration initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to confidently guide technical conflicts and articulate technology ROI to business headers.
  • Strong understanding of security, network topologies, and delivery patterns across hybrid architectures (On-Premises, Private, and Public Cloud).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related business-technical field.
  • Deep architectural familiarity with MuleSoft Anypoint, IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (App Connect, MQ, API Connect), and SAP PI/PO / SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
  • Strategic deployment of Apache Kafka, Confluent, or traditional enterprise messaging (IBM MQ, RabbitMQ) for real-time automation.
  • Core understanding of Process Automation (BPM/RPA), API-led connectivity, microservices architectures, and service meshes.
  • Integration experience within massive enterprise application environments involving ERPs (specifically SAP), Supply Chain systems, and OMS.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive enterprise integration assessments across API, application, event-driven, and process automation landscapes.
  • Review current-state integration architectures, operating models, and alignment with modern digital standards.
  • Evaluate diverse middleware ecosystems to develop recommendations for platform consolidation, rationalization, and modernization.
  • Create target-state integration architectures and phased migration roadmaps aligned with corporate business strategies and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Define the charter, operational frameworks, and organizational structure to set up a sustainable Integration Center of Excellence (CoE).
  • Establish rigorous integration and API governance frameworks, design standards, security protocols, and discoverability/reusability metrics.
  • Identify concrete opportunities to reduce operational complexities, licensing overheads, and underlying platform spend through smart rationalization.
  • Provide rigorous, objective comparative analyses of integration platforms to recommend fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and present findings, strategic architectural options, and executive-level roadmaps to C-suite and technical leadership.
