About The Position

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Principal Infrastructure Engineer – Network to support the development, enhancements, and maintenance of the KDP digital networks. This is a hybrid role based in Frisco, TX, involving in-office work from Tuesday to Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday. As the Principal Infrastructure Engineer - Network, you will design and implement network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment. This involves analyzing network requirements, selecting appropriate technologies, and ensuring optimal network performance and security. You will also identify and resolve network issues, troubleshoot connectivity problems, create and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures, execute on architectural standards and reference architecture, and plan and optimize the network by collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and coordination of network services.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of Open Systems Interconnection model (OSI model).
  • Expert knowledge of Internet Protocols (E.g., DNS, HTTP, SMTP, SSL).
  • Expert knowledge of various network types. E.g., LAN, WAN and WLAN.
  • Expert knowledge of defining and implementing integration of hardware in the network, including routers, switches, power systems, and cables.
  • Expert knowledge of network management including network testing, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Expert knowledge of network services and networks such as TCP/IP, OSPF and EIGRP.
  • Expert ability to design, implement, monitor, and troubleshoot Wi-Fi, and network security infrastructure.
  • Expert ability to identify, prioritize, and solve complex network-related problems and recommend solutions for improving the overall network health.
  • Proven ability to recommend solutions for improving the overall network health by assessing overall effectiveness.
  • Expert ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of technical terminology.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in related field
  • Native-level proficiency/fluent in English
  • Prior Visio experience
