Principal GTM Analyst

Huntress
Remote

About The Position

Huntress is a fully remote, global team dedicated to breaking down barriers in cybersecurity. Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress provides enterprise-grade, fully owned, and managed cybersecurity products to protect all businesses, not just the top 1%. They currently protect over 4 million endpoints and 7 million identities worldwide, empowering underresourced IT teams with effective protection. As a Principal Analyst embedded within the fast-moving Marketing and GTM organization, you will act as the crucial link between data and strategy. Your role involves translating complex, ambiguous business questions into sharp insights that directly influence the company's growth trajectory. You are expected to proactively identify valuable ideas, challenge assumptions, and deliver recommendations that significantly enhance marketing efficiency and drive measurable growth. This position requires working at the intersection of data, strategy, and storytelling, collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales, and other cross-functional GTM partners on various initiatives, including campaign performance, pipeline attribution, customer segmentation, and market opportunity sizing. The ideal candidate is someone who not only answers difficult questions but also excels at identifying which questions are most critical to ask, thriving on transforming complexity into clarity and influencing high-level decisions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with demonstrated impact supporting marketing, GTM, or growth-oriented teams within a SaaS organization.
  • A strategic, generative mindset — you don't just solve the problem in front of you; you frame the right problem, generate options, and push toward the solution that moves the needle on growth and efficiency.
  • Proficiency with BI tools (e.g. Hex, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar) — you can build a dashboard that becomes the team's source of truth, not just a pretty visual.
  • The ability to churn out high-quality ad hoc analyses under pressure, scoping ambiguous questions and delivering clear answers with speed and rigor.
  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and agentic workflows to accelerate analysis and scale output — this is a genuine differentiator, not a checkbox.
  • A track record of operating independently in unstructured environments, defining your own workplan, and delivering without heavy guidance or oversight.
  • A storytelling edge: you present findings in ways that are clear, compelling, and built for decision-making — recommendations land, not just reports.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Marketing and GTM leaders to surface growth opportunities and translate data into strategic recommendations — with minimal direction needed.
  • Ideate on complex business problems that matter — proactively identifying where analytical thinking can unlock marketing efficiency, accelerate pipeline, or improve growth outcomes.
  • Own end-to-end analysis across key GTM priorities: campaign effectiveness, funnel performance, pipeline attribution, customer segmentation, and market opportunity sizing.
  • Design and maintain dashboards that give Marketing and GTM teams clear visibility into performance, enabling faster and more confident decision-making.
  • Deliver high-impact ad hoc analyses quickly and clearly — moving from raw question to actionable insight without sacrificing rigor.
  • Develop compelling data narratives and executive-ready communications that tell a clear story and drive alignment across stakeholders.
  • Elevate the team's analytical capabilities by championing best practices, introducing AI-assisted workflows, and helping business partners ask sharper questions.
