About The Position

SID Global Solutions is seeking a highly accomplished, hands-on Principal Google Cloud Architect to lead architecture, design, engineering, and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud, data, AI, integration, and modernization solutions built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). We are looking for a senior technology leader with deep expertise across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Gemini Enterprise, Vertex AI, BigQuery, Data Cloud, Dataplex, Apigee X / Apigee Hybrid, Platform Engineering, Cloud-Native Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Generative AI (GenAI), Agentic AI, Enterprise Integration, and Application Modernization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being deeply technical while also influencing architecture strategy, customer success, engineering excellence, and capability development.

Requirements

12+ years of software engineering, cloud engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture experience.
7+ years architecting and delivering enterprise Google Cloud solutions.
Proven success leading large-scale cloud transformation programs.
Strong customer-facing consulting and architecture leadership experience.
Deep hands-on experience with: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Anthos, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud Operations, IAM, Security & Networking, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Hands-on experience with: BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataform, Datastream, Data Fusion, Pub/Sub, Apache Spark, Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, Data Governance.
Experience delivering solutions using: Gemini Enterprise.

Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise-scale Google Cloud Platform architectures.
Architect highly scalable, secure, cloud-native platforms using GKE, Cloud Run, Anthos, and modern platform engineering practices.
Lead cloud migration, modernization, multi-cloud, and hybrid-cloud transformation initiatives.
Design enterprise landing zones, governance frameworks, security architectures, and operational models.
Build reusable cloud accelerators, reference architectures, implementation patterns, and automation frameworks.
Lead architecture reviews, technical governance forums, and technology strategy discussions.
Lead architecture and delivery of enterprise-scale data platforms using: BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataform, Datastream, Data Fusion, Pub/Sub, Apache Spark, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Enterprise Analytics Platforms.
Responsibilities include: Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Governance, Data Platform Engineering, Data Security, Metadata Management, Data Modernization, AI-Ready Data Architectures, Master Data Management.
Design and deliver GenAI, Agentic AI, and Enterprise AI platforms using: Gemini Enterprise, Gemini, Vertex AI, Vertex AI Search, Agent Development Kit (ADK), Agentic AI, Generative AI, AI Agents, AI Copilots, Multi-Agent Systems, Enterprise Search, Knowledge Platforms.
Responsibilities include: Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Enterprise Search Platforms, AI Knowledge Systems, AI Governance, Responsible AI, AI Security, AI Observability, AgentOps, MLOps, LLMOps.
Lead API and integration architecture initiatives using: Apigee X, Apigee Hybrid, API Gateway, API Security, API Governance, API Products, API Monetization, Developer Portals.
Design and implement: Enterprise Integration Platforms, Event-Driven Architectures, Service Mesh, Microservices Architectures, Enterprise API Programs, Enterprise Integration Governance.
Design and modernize enterprise applications using: Front-End React, Angular, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Backend Java, Spring Boot, Python, FastAPI, Node.js, REST APIs, GraphQL, Enterprise Platforms, SaaS Platforms, Enterprise Portals, Customer Experience Platforms, Workflow Automation Platforms, Business Process Automation Solutions, Operational Platforms.
Lead executive architecture workshops and cloud strategy engagements.
Act as trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, Chief Architects, Platform Leaders, and Engineering Executives.
Drive cloud transformation, modernization, and AI adoption initiatives.
Support strategic customer pursuits, solutioning, and proof-of-concepts.
Present architecture strategies and technology roadmaps to executive stakeholders.
Mentor cloud architects, platform engineers, AI engineers, integration architects, and data engineers.
Establish architecture standards, engineering best practices, and reusable patterns.
Support hiring, mentoring, technical enablement, and certification programs.
Contribute to SID Global's Google Cloud, AI, Data, and Integration practice growth.
