About The Position

Fidelity Stock Transfer (FST) in Fidelity Labs is looking for a Principal Full Stack Engineer to join us. As a key member of a growing engineering team, this role will be hands-on building the technology and architecture of world class end-to-end systems. Fidelity Labs is Fidelity Investments’ in-house fintech incubator with a mission to build new businesses to drive growth for Fidelity. Requirements

  • Strong software experience in developing, a proven track record of delivering web applications and a seasoned team leader proficient with the entire SDLC process.
  • Expert level knowledge using React and/or Angular to build a single page application from scratch.
  • Proficient level knowledge of RESTful APIs (Node.js & Java) and good knowledge of standard methodologies in API design.
  • Professional experience integrating applications with REST based services.
  • Full-stack development experience using Angular or React, Node.js or Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Spring MVC/Spring Core/Web Services.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a modular and scalable platform.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Storybook JS, React Native, Ionic and knowledge of micro-frontends architecture.
