The Advanced Sensor Programs (ASP) Finance team is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst (P3) to support a large, externally reported strategic program. In this role, you will serve as a key member of both the finance and program teams, responsible for managing all financial aspects of a classified program area. You will also partner with the corporate billings team to generate classified invoices, ensuring accuracy, reconciliation, and timely execution to support program financial performance. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, effective presentation abilities, and the capacity to interpret and frame complex issues. This individual is a proactive, results-driven professional with strong interpersonal skills, capable of thriving in a team environment while navigating complexity and ambiguity in compliance with Raytheon policies, procedures, and FAR. This role is fully onsite in Plano, Texas.

Requirements

  • Typically requires A Bachelors Degree in Finance or related discipline or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience with forProject and APEX.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Experience with Earned Value (EV) & Estimates at Completion (EAC).
  • Must have existing Top Secret security clearance (with SSBI) and ability to obtain Special Access.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with customer invoicing and contract setup.
  • Good organizational, prioritization, analytical & problem-solving skills while being able to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to plan and manage daily tasks, analyze, provide results, & recommend solutions to management.
  • Experience reviewing and validating work products to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency prior to submission or delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Program Business Managers, Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, and Program Managers to support program financial execution.
  • Report Earned Value (EV) & perform detailed EV analysis to budget baseline, schedule, and EAC positions.
  • Partner with corporate billings team to generate classified invoices.
  • Support quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs) which will require you to partner with the program team & perform analysis.
  • Prepare various ad-hoc analyses to ensure accurate reporting and early warning of issues.
  • Work closely with Program Business Managers, Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, and Program Managers to support program financial execution.
