The Global Network Events team is a dynamic and creative-minded group of event professionals that work collaboratively as well as independently to produce a wide variety of meetings and events around the world. The team acts as the professional voice of event planning, serving as trusted advisors to Network lines of business in the communication and achievement of their business goals through events. We are strategic partners, thought leaders and experts in the event field. Our internal clients and their external partners rely on our team to guide them in the right direction. As a Principal Project Manager on the Global Network Events team, you can achieve results you never thought possible by leading critical and strategic business projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of events management experience within the financial services industry

  • Experience planning international events
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification(s)

Responsibilities

  • Apply Principal Project Manager methodologies to architect and maintain comprehensive project lifecycles; defining critical paths, identifying dependencies, and establishing clear accountability through robust frameworks.
  • Partner with senior leadership to translate business objectives into high-impact event strategies, ensuring every activation adheres to Enterprise Network standards and brand guidelines.
  • Drive the planning, coordination, and direct execution of all logistical workstreams, ensuring tactical delivery is rooted in defined event KPIs and measurable goals.
  • Lead the RFP process for venue selection and vendor partnerships, leveraging negotiation strategies to maximize value and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Exercise rigorous fiscal oversight by tracking multi-stream budgets, managing complex invoicing cycles, and ensuring seamless payment processing in alignment with corporate audit standards.
  • Provide expert on-site management of venues and third-party vendors, acting as the primary point of contact to troubleshoot real-time challenges and ensure flawless production.
  • Architect the end-to-end attendee journey via Cvent, including custom registration builds, app creation, and the utilization of real-time data for tracking and executive reporting.
  • Develop and deploy pre- and post-event communication plans that drive engagement, reinforce key messaging, and gather actionable insights through post-event analysis.
