About The Position

Zscaler is seeking an Enterprise AV & Live Production Engineer for a hybrid role based in Santa Clara, California. Reporting to the Senior Director IT Operations, Digital Employee Experience, this position provides end-to-end technical leadership for high-visibility corporate broadcasts, including executive broadcasts, earnings releases, and studio sessions. The engineer is responsible for operational readiness and maintenance of global meeting spaces and collaborates with IT, Marketing, and Facilities to support hybrid collaboration and reliable event execution. The role owns corporate conference rooms and collaborative spaces globally, maintaining uptime, hardware readiness, and AV quality. It also leads broadcast production from preparation through execution, supports executive rehearsals and speaker preparation, and serves as the primary AV lead for customer-facing Executive Briefing Center sessions and Multipurpose Rooms. Requirements

Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and a history of integrating new technologies to enhance workflows and problem-solving.
10+ years of professional, hands-on experience in corporate AV systems engineering, enterprise conference room maintenance, or live broadcast production operations.
Advanced operational and administrative proficiency with Zoom Rooms, Zoom Phone, Google Workspace (Calendar / Meet), room scheduling panels, and related workplace collaboration technologies.
Hands-on ability to diagnose and configure live production and conference room hardware, including DSPs, Dante / Q-SYS audio mixers, Blackmagic / Tricaster / Ross video switchers, PTZ cameras, microphones, and video distribution systems.
Experience collaborating with Zoom room administrators or Facilities teams to manage, audit, and maintain meeting spaces across multi-floor headquarters or distributed regional and international offices.
Strong composure, executive presence, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to remain calm and decisive while troubleshooting in real time during high-visibility live broadcasts.

Experience using enterprise AI tools and workflow automation, such as meeting transcription summaries, automated room telemetry analysis, or generative AI ticketing workflows, to improve AV operational efficiency.
Hands-on experience with remote AV fleet telemetry platforms such as Logitech Sync, Crestron XiO Cloud, Neat Pulse, or Shure SystemOn.
Experience commissioning conference spaces during corporate office expansions or relocations.
Relevant industry certifications, such as AVIXA CTS, Zoom Room Certified Integrator, Q-SYS, or Dante audio network certifications.

Responsibilities

Own corporate conference rooms and collaborative spaces globally, maintaining high uptime, hardware readiness, and optimal AV fidelity through regular maintenance and rapid troubleshooting.
Monitor conference room health, deploy firmware updates, and resolve alerts using platforms such as Zoom Admin Portal, Logitech Sync, and Crestron XiO Cloud.
Direct and execute the end-to-end production lifecycle for high-visibility company broadcasts, managing video switchers, digital audio consoles, lighting, PTZ cameras, and encoders.
Partner with executive leaders to lead technical rehearsals, review pre-production show flows, prepare speakers, and perform basic post-production editing.
Serve as the primary AV lead for customer-facing Executive Briefing Center sessions and Multipurpose Rooms, pre-testing video walls, tuning acoustics, and authoring user documentation.
Collaborate with IT, Marketing, and Facilities partners to support seamless hybrid collaboration and broadcast execution.
