About The Position
This role serves as an experienced ERM professional, leading complex risk initiatives and providing subject-matter expertise across the organization. The position applies deep knowledge to shape risk practices and influence cross-functional outcomes. The role interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. It manages projects or programs with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. It handles diverse and complex problems requiring evaluation of multiple factors and acts autonomously on most decisions, requiring guidance only on highly complex judgments. The individual exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to work on complex issues, possessing an advanced understanding of their functional area and expert knowledge in a specialized discipline, recognized as a subject matter expert. They determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other team members, working highly independently with limited oversight. They manage large projects or programs and are accountable for processes, coaching and delegating to others.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in field relevant to role (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
- 6 - 8 years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience in enterprise risk or related discipline.
- Strong analytical and systems thinking capabilities.
- Ability to influence without authority.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-level or high-complexity risk assessments.
- Evaluate risk interdependencies and systemic impacts.
- Develop advanced risk insights, models, or frameworks.
- Influence decision-making through data and analysis.
- Guide improvement of risk processes and methodologies.
- Support governance activities and enterprise reporting.
- Coach less experienced team members.
