About The Position

The Identity and Access Provisioning team enables customers to govern the lifecycle and access of all identities including employees, agents, non-human and partners through the Entra Identity Governance product. The team is looking for an action-oriented Principal Engineering Manager who will expand the scope of our governance and provisioning products across human/non-human identities accessing applications, directories and resources in customers' cloud and hybrid environments. This role offers significant opportunities to collaborate across Microsoft and a large ecosystem of industry players who develop top business applications to deliver IAM and governance solutions. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
Must pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice To Haves

10+ years of industry experience working on commercial software application or cloud services
3+ years of experience managing engineering team(s)
Working experience in cloud services, large scale systems and identity products/services is a plus
Track record of managing team(s), fostering innovation and delivering results through leadership and collaboration

Responsibilities

Managing a team of engineers in the Identity and Access Provisioning team, responsible for delivering a planet-scaled, business-critical and secure-by-default service that supports Entra Identity provisioning and Governance products.
Collaborating with teams across the Identity division, Microsoft, and the industry to build identity products that work with a large ecosystem of first-party and third-party business applications.
Building and growing a team of motivated and empowered engineers who aim high, challenge themselves, deliver big, and learn at every step of the way.
