About The Position

Tuvoli is a technology and payments innovator within private aviation, focused on improving the speed, efficiency, and security of transactions across the industry. As the embedded payments partner of choice for air charter, Tuvoli’s Digital Checkout is transforming how trips are booked and paid. Tuvoli is seeking a Principal Engineer to drive the architecture and delivery of critical platform initiatives. This is a hands-on role with significant technical influence across the organization. You will play a key role in evolving our platform—balancing the needs of a growing production system while modernizing and re-architecting components to support scalability, performance, and future growth. This includes improving existing systems while building new features and services. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2–3 days per week onsite in Nashua, NH.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including designing and building scalable systems
• Strong system design and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead complex efforts across teams in a fast-paced environment
• High ownership mindset with attention to detail and quality
• Self-motivated and able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach that fosters a strong engineering culture

Responsibilities

• Own and drive critical initiatives from architecture through delivery, often leading efforts that span multiple engineers or teams
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance systems, setting technical direction and best practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship through influence, guiding engineers and elevating team standards
• Contribute hands-on to the codebase, solving complex technical challenges and ensuring high-quality output
