Requirements

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Structural, Materials, Chemical, or a related discipline, with strong technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience supporting industrial products, engineered solutions, coatings, composites, asset integrity, or related technologies.
  • Ability to develop and implement new applications for existing products and technologies.
  • Experience leading technical projects and coordinating activities across engineering, sales, operations, and other functional teams.
  • Familiarity with engineering testing, validation, field trials, and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex customer and engineering challenges.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, standardization, and consistency.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to customers, sales teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable mentoring peers, supporting technical training, and contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple priorities while driving projects to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new applications for coatings, composite repair, and structural reinforcement technologies.
  • Lead engineering improvement projects focused on efficiency, standardization, and quality.
  • Support testing, validation, and field demonstration programs for new applications.
  • Develop technical documentation, design guides, and application procedures.
  • Support strategic sales opportunities with advanced technical expertise.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects between Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Software teams.
  • Assist in evaluating emerging technologies and market opportunities.
  • Mentor engineers and support onboarding and technical training initiatives.
  • Help maintain engineering best practices, standards, and knowledge management systems.
  • Serve as a technical resource for complex customer applications and engineering challenges.
