About The Position

The TCO Group within sustaining engineering in Patient Support Systems (PSS) is responsible for managing and coordinating cost-saving engineering product design changes for currently released products. This team consists of project leaders and engineers who thrive in a collaborative environment to respond to the changing needs and fast-paced role within the TCO group. They support each cost-saving initiative and resolve issues to avoid project delays and disruptions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an engineering/technical field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience managing projects of various sizes.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, sourcing, operations, quality, regulatory, Marketing, etc.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing project priorities and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills to ensure timely execution of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional project teams from planning through implementation, which may include both internal and external team members.
  • Plan and execute projects using project management tools, coach project team members, solve problems, and make decisions for the project.
  • Lead multiple small to medium projects with limited supervision.
  • Communicate both up and down the organization to complete projects and provide status updates.
  • Support change control KPI reporting with project reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement opportunities and ongoing process improvements within the sustaining engineering project team.
  • Make design changes related to affected projects, including 2D redlines.
