A Day in the Life The Principal R&D Engineer will work in the Peripheral Vascular Health organization, specifically within the Released Product Management (Sustaining) team. The role of the principal engineer is to support our released products from a research and development perspective, driving changes, supporting and leading CAPAs, supporting supplier changes and our manufacturing sites. We are working onsite a minimum of 4 days per week as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary. This role will require less than 10% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.

Requirements

Requires a Baccalaureate degree AND minimum of 7 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience OR PhD with 3 years relevant experience
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, analyze, troubleshoot and provide technical skills during research and/or product development
Design studies to investigate specific life science questions within field of expertise
May be involved in product research and development and/or clinical trials
Translate research discoveries into usable and marketable products
