What YOU will do Apply scientific principles to innovate, design, develop, and implement technologies, components, subsystems, machines, tools, and systems to ensure compliance to specifications, requirements, and customer guarantees across applicable operating conditions. Ensure novel ideas and implementations are captured and protected using applicable IP processes and tools. Develop the strategy and tactics for systems, projects and programs. Train, instruct and mentor less senior employees. Lead the organization in the development and advancement of process, tools and methods. Provide guidance on complex engineering activities that may not be attributed to a defined discipline. Create, own and approve common procedures and standard work across the organization. Provide support to technical teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. Requirements

  • Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or a related field and 8 years of progressive experience as a Stress Analyst or related role working on aircraft nacelle structure components. In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Stress Analyst or related role working on aircraft nacelle structure components would be acceptable.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with repair analysis of aircraft Nacelle Structures metallic and/or composite structures.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with maintenance, repair, overhaul, and regulatory requirements in the commercial aircraft industry.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with load path, load balance, free body diagram and experience in classical hand analysis methods used in Aerospace structural analysis.
  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience with finite element analysis of aircraft structure using Patran/Nastran (soln's 101, 106,111).
  • Non-US Person - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position. The company will not seek an export authorization for this role.
