Requirements

  • Strong, people-first mentor with excellent communication and relationship-building skills; deeply understands customer needs and brings an open, innovative mindset to uncover new ideas and opportunities
  • Proactive, self-directed, and highly analytical; takes initiative to solve complex technical problems, deliver exceptional results, and inspire and guide teams to success
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of experience in the semiconductor and/or automotive market
  • Expertise in power products (HV preferred; LV acceptable) with strong knowledge of automotive power applications and electronic systems
  • Hands-on hardware development experience and proficiency with EDA tools
  • Demonstrated mentorship and technical leadership with proven business impact; excellent communication and presentation skills; willing to travel regularly within the USA and occasionally to Europe

Responsibilities

  • Customer-facing first-level technical contact for California automotive customers, positioning Infineon’s full automotive product portfolio with a focus on high‑voltage power products.
  • Proven at driving design‑in and securing design wins; familiar with high‑voltage applications and Infineon product solutions.
  • Skilled at requirements capture and translating customer application and product requirements into actionable inputs for future high‑voltage products.
  • Hands-on support for modern automotive electronic systems—OBC/DC‑DC, traction inverter, BMS, compressor, ESS—guiding system design, product evaluation, and on‑site application validation.
  • Collaborative partner with Technical Marketing, Account Management, Product Experts, and Business Lines to deliver innovative, customer‑tailored solutions.
  • Confident communicator preparing and delivering customer presentations and product/application training.
