About The Position
At T-Mobile, this Principal Engineer will lead, design, build, and deploy scalable software solutions that meet customer needs and support highly available systems. They collaborate with other engineers to develop modern software components using technologies and concepts like system design, virtualization, software-defined networking, network functions virtualization, and big data. In this role, Principal Engineers use independent judgment to solve complex technical problems and guide software design decisions. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree plus 7 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 5 years of related experience
- Acceptable areas of study include Engineering/Computer Science
- 7-10 years Technical engineering experience.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and validation of network systems to maximize reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and presentations to communicate design benefits to diverse audiences
- Drive engineering projects by applying techniques, conducting tests, and supervising engineering teams to meet objectives
- Analyze and implement technology improvements to optimize network processes and support business requirements
- Monitor industry technologies and standards to inform design decisions and influence organizational technology strategies
- Evaluate new and existing technologies to align with business goals and support network evolution
- Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
