About The Position

Adaptive Dynamics is seeking a Principal Embedded Software Engineer to port and optimise numerical algorithms for Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms. This hands-on senior engineering role focuses on translating existing signal-processing and numerical reference implementations into efficient, production-quality embedded C/C++ software that meets demanding real-time performance requirements. The engineer will use the available compute capabilities of Snapdragon platforms and work with ARM-based SoCs and embedded Linux environments. The role includes technical ownership of a key customer programme and close collaboration with algorithm, FPGA, DSP and signal-processing engineers. The engineer will lead embedded software delivery for customer programmes, participate in customer meetings and technical discussions, and help grow Adaptive Dynamics' embedded software capabilities into new markets and platforms. Adaptive Dynamics develops interference-mitigation technologies for mission-critical communications and Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing (APNT), supporting defence and national-security applications across land, maritime and airborne platforms.
