About The Position

Folia Health was founded to make personalized, data-driven healthcare accessible. Folia allows users to track their experiences (fatigue, symptom flares, pain) alongside their treatments to understand the best way forward. Many users also participate in Research Programs by sharing their data, which provides them with Data Dividends and fuels Folia’s business model. Folia has developed and validated a new type of health data called home-reported outcomes (HROs), which digitize personal health knowledge through responses to personalized questions. HROs are now a valuable part of research methods used by life sciences companies to understand therapy impact in the real world. The company name, Folia, is inspired by the power of individual contributions, likening users to leaves on a tree that strengthen the whole. Folia is a female-founded and led company, focused on making healthcare understandable, with 10 years in business, backed by venture funds, and supported by a growing user community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in a relevant field is a bonus.
  • 6+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or client-facing commercial/scientific roles, ideally within life sciences, pharma, healthcare, or research services.
  • Demonstrated ability to own sponsor or client relationships and manage the success of multiple projects over time.
  • Ability to engage credibly with both scientific and commercial stakeholders, and to translate research insights into commercial value.
  • First principles thinking and a knack for turning insight into action.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and account strategy skills.
  • Candidates must be local to Boston, MA for this role (able to commute into the office located in downtown Boston weekly).

Responsibilities

  • Own client relationships across multiple sponsors; serve as the clients’ primary point of contact and the person they always know to come to throughout the entire end-to-end research lifecycle.
  • Partner closely with the Folia Research team including, research scientists and data scientists, in order to ensure sponsors experience Folia’s science with full scientific credibility and clear commercial relevance.
  • Translate Folia research findings into commercially-usable outputs and lead client-facing deliverable presentations.
  • Support the Commercial team with renewals and account expansion: map accounts, surface the strongest insights, and hold the relationship connection.
