About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Principal CNO Software Engineer to join one of their subcontracts. This is a full-time position supporting a U.S. Government customer, providing technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems. The role involves supporting CNO development across various groups by designing, developing, and integrating tools to aid development activities. A deep understanding of the customer's mission, dataflow, and tooling is crucial. The engineer will provide guidance and vision, working with mission stakeholders and software engineers to specify, develop, integrate, and test new workflows, potentially aided by AI/ML technologies.

Requirements

  • Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • 12 years of Professional/Education experience and a Bachelors of Science Degree, or 4 additional years in place of a BS Degree.
  • Works well independently as well as on a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Production-grade software development experience in Python.
  • Experience within the CNO developer domain developing tools for operational use.
  • Experience with development of AI systems and customizing of AI models.
  • Practical experience with platforms for processing Agency data sets.
  • Experience with software source control (git) and Atlassian tool suite - Jira, Confluence.
  • Experience interacting with stakeholders to elicit requirements.
  • Knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working as a lead for a development team.
  • Practical experience in one or more artificial intelligence domains (e.g., intelligent systems, autonomy, planning, LLMs and LLM Training).
  • Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
  • Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with web application/UI development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a project from inception to delivery in the CNO domain, including; problem decomposition, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of applications.
  • Interact with mission stakeholders to elicit requirements and devise solutions.
  • Collaborate with other software engineers to test workflows, identify issues, and recommend pathways for fixes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address real-world reverse engineering challenges.
  • Overcome inevitable obstacles.
